Doc:

1st wife tossed me - I didn't fight the matter, like you, either.

Well 'guess what?' - about a year and a half later she came sniffing around.

I politely told her to write me off as the BAD experience she said I was during divorce process.

Count yourself lucky you didn't have a passel of kids to deal with in this mess!

Dogs and Cats - to earn any animals love and attention says good things about you.

And they can help you get through, in some measure, loneliness.

He (the cat) always like me more than her, I think. It's because I paid him more attention.

Brother, you are doing this by the book. Good on you. It is the men who take action that generally come out the best and are making good choices to recover and move on.

I'm glad for you.

P.s. don't take a guilty vindictive person's attacks to heart. When I say guilty I mean objectively so. Whether they feel any guilt is another issue entirely.

I'll say it because it appears no one else did.

"The best revenge is a life well lived".

Thereafter?

No, her-after, of course!

You will, you already have bounced back.

She will bounce around until she falls off the gravy train, again.
Remember, she left you for riches, she admitted that.

Riches can only carry joy, so far, then so long to that happiness.

Her new man will 'likely' catch on to this gold digger, and ditch this material gal, sooner or later.
Especially, if she is eye candy.

Eye candy does get old, as it must.
Musty, dusty, pancake makeup crusty.

Ask @Divine&FemPatriciaBlue about how she feels about D. Johnson, aka, Don Johnson!

I know, I do..... she just stared at your Avatar name and swooned.

Why is it then that men are generally far quicker to date and marry again after a divorce or bereavement? I see it all the time.
After a divorce, if they're quality men...when a woman or three show interest.... it's because men like shiny new things and generally have the money to get their fishing poles back in the water.

After bereavement, case by case. If a ltr, it's not that men didn't truly and deeply love their wife....they are used to, in some cases mind you, having a female partner as matter of a full life.
