I ran across this video and thought of the countless discussions on TAM where there is angst about men looking at other women. This short (5:40) video answers this question directly. Take a look and let me hear some opinions.

I figured this out 20+ years ago with regards to porn as well.
It made life a lot easier.

On TAM the problem is often the WAY the men look at women out in public. Staring, salivating and embarrassing their wives is not cool.

My wife often points out women who she thinks I should consider attractive. Tall, rake thin, a type I do not like.

Yes, it is silly, but it's also true.

What a lot of men don't realize when they do this is that, as women, we know what the woman being ogled is thinking. We don't get snippy because we're jealous; we get snippy because on a purely primal level it reduces our status in the yes of the other woman.

A look is normal, but an ogle is disrespectful.
