Aw, that's the cutest. He was so happy and then so filled with wellbeing after he got them all tucked away. I've never seen a healthier coyote. They're usually skinny and scraggly around here. Guess she must have raised him from a pup.

My girl's application for an exemption to come into Australia (from NZ) was rejected yesterday. It was only submitted a couple of days ago...??

Starting to get tired of this 'borders closed' BS. We are both aware that she would have to quarantine for 2 weeks but still they deny it.

Yet, they will allow the bloody Australian Cricket Team to go to England and play sport...

Getting towards being 6 months apart, we video call every day, message during the day, and we know we want to be together, but the separation has taken its toll on both of us.

Hoping this OZ/NZ bubble happens soon, otherwise I might jump in my kayak and keep heading east till I hit kiwi town!

The search continues for another way to get her over...

IKR, it’s not even the Ashes. And rather than kayak have you lookEd into the train?

But seriously, I hope you (all) get it sorted soon. Could you (ignoring employment issues) gain entry to NZ?

At present, getting out is one thing, but getting back in is another.

That combined with me being self employed, having the biggest boom of work I have ever had recently (for which I am very thankful for), makes it a difficult situation.

The part which frustrates me (and my girl), is that they won't even allow her in via quarantine. They'll let Australian sports stars (and government staff) out and back in via that method but no one else.

A load of bollocks as the Poms would say.

I would consider myself to be a fairly patient man, but it gets tested when you have nitwits in charge who seem to now be doing all this for political point scoring as there are state elections coming up here.

We keep being told 'Christmas, we are aiming for Christmas to start opening things up again'... Just hope they aren't dangling a carrot to shut us up.

Otherwise, it's a beautiful day here, and I have alot to be thankful for.

We're now under the gun for a potential tropical storm/hurricane threat in our area mid week. Forecast models currently predict a category 2 storm by the time it makes landfall on the LA/MS coastline on Wednesday. Here's to hoping that changes.

I'm curious. 😬

I understand that most men here think that pornography is just fine within their marriage, and that their wives need to get over it, because it's unrealistic to expect a man not to look at it.

So, in a current thread, a poster mentioned a friend's bachelor party that's going to include handjobs from strippers.

He stated that he would opt out of certain moments, so as not to damage his marriage. He voluntarily brought it up to his wife, and he knew beforehand that she would disapprove.

So...reading this, his words kind of came across to me like he was placing the burden of the decision on his wife - not because he believes the activity is wrong.

The handjobs from the strippers/prostitutes are going to be kept a secret by the majority of the married men, so obviously they don't consider this cheating. Or they do, but it's yet another justified form of sexual entertainment that they feel entitled to.

What do you think about this?

I feel it's cheating. Period. To each their own, but I don't watch porn because it just isn't my thing and I sure wouldn't feel entitled to anything the night before my wedding. I'm going to shut up before I really start to go off.

I hope the wife who is in the know will alert the bride-to-be. She has a right to know what she's getting herself in to. And, all of the other wives.

Ick, just ick. My bachelor party was in a pre-Disneyfied Times Square, before setting off we all agreed there would be looking but no touching and we had each other’s backs on that.

Not really related, know the grooms friends before entering his party and (jokingly) saying “Hi, where are the hookers?” That did not go over well.

Those of you who know me, know I'm a diehard football fanatic. Love the game. This season is weird in so many ways. If players want to haul politics onto the playing field, fine. I choose not to watch it because I'm all about the sport. Go ahead and raise your fist in the air, take a knee, or remain in the locker room. I'll go ahead and busy myself elsewhere until the kickoff.

And I just wish that jerk Snyder would NAME the "Washington Team." How about the Warriors? Jeesh ...

Actually, I'm glad they have the background stadium noise. It's less annoying than laugh tracks on other shows.

Well, those are my words and I'm honestly so confused by this thought.

Yes, I brought it up to my wife but that wasn't so that she would say I'm not allowed and take the burden off me... I brought it up because the alternative was her finding out after the fact and that would surely look worse.

For the record, I don't agree with what they are doing and I have no interest in that. I have made it clear to the guys that I think it's a bad idea, and why, and I'm sure not chipping in to pay for that. If I was single I would still go and I wouldn't excuse myself, but I wouldn't participate in that "event" either.

As far as I know, none of those guys go to strip clubs but yes, they feel entitled to have strippers at every bachelor party. They also think what happens at a bachelor party is exempt from cheating, and what their wives don't know won't hurt them.

So; while they're getting their little handjob, they won't be hurt that their wives are banging the pizza delivery guy since they won't know.

OMG! Laugh tracks - kill, kill, kill I'd like to put a stake through the guy who that up. I hope every dog in the city pisses on his grave. Along with a few raccoons and opossums.

What's on my mind - threads that are several months old getting dug up by a poster who hasn't bothered to read that they are all resolved.

@Blondilocks - As a rule, I can ignore it. But I recently realized, watching Frasier reruns, that the laugh track on this particular show is really LOUD. Frasier is an extremely well-written and funny show. A little laughter would be fine, but this crap totally defeats the purpose. It's diverting my attention from the dialogue. Funny I never noticed it years ago ... hmmmmm.
