US poll, 70% of people cheat at bachelor and bachelorette parties

I thought that this was an interesting article, mostly because of how they define "cheating." Glad I didn't have a bachelor party.

NY Post Article 70% cheat at bachelor/bachelorette party

ranging from flirting or downloading a dating app during the parties, to sexting or sleeping with someone other than their partner.
The most common instances of infidelity were relatively chaste, including receiving a lap dance (33.1%) and smooching (21.3%).

Yet 11.2% of attendees admitted to sleeping with someone else — and 9% said that they got hot and heavy in the sheets as part of a threesome.
Q1: So how many people had bachelor or bachelorette parties prior to marriage?

Q2: Any thing you did at one, that you wouldn't want your spouse to find out about?

My Answers: Since I didn't have one prior to my wedding, I can honestly answer that nothing happened.

So you feel that pack of European floozies you witnessed is representative of what often happens at female bachelorette parties?
Not representative.

However, I do belong to a couple of winery, wine clubs here in the USA. I was talking to some of the tasting staff about bachelorette parties. The staff did tell me that they absolutely hate them. They take the money pour the tastes as quickly as possible and get them on their way as soon as they can. The folks had nothing but bad things to say.

Does that mean that they are all bad? No. People were just asking about bachelorette parties and I was relaying what I saw in Europe as the worst examples I have personally seen.

Can people of any group behave badly, especially when alcohol is involved? Absolutely.

Were those Canadians? The Canadians were animals when they showed up as trainees at the XEROX training center.
Oh wow, I've been to the Xerox training center. I can see people partying there.

As far as American bachelorette parties go, I'm not even sure who the women are supposed to be cheating with. The male stripper? You think these guys are in the gym all day doing crunches so they can make out and get BJ's from pudgy soon to be housewives? Maybe if you paid them enough. And I'd wager it's a very small minority of women who are paying some guy she just met extra for sex / making out. And it's probably an equally small percentage of male strippers who would actually get off on that.

There's a reason 90% of Hollywood heart throbs are married. Justin Bieber could be with a new woman every day but once you get to a high level endless female attention starts to get old quick. It's mostly genuinely low value males who enjoy and get off on attention from just anyone. Because they know they're low value and it helps soothe the pain.
Do a little more research into the lifestyles of male strippers.

…… yes they do have sexual contact with their clientele.

Now granted most of them are not in the businesses for decades and only do it for a few years and then move on to other things.

But while they are stripping, they are hooking up with a lot of chicks.

What were you there for? I worked with XEROX in a number of different positions
I would be telling a lie if I said would not be worried if my wife attended one of these. But I would not let her know that. Im sure she would probably do some mild shenanigans, not cross any boundaries and I would reap the benefits when she got home.

From my life experience dealing with women. And I have been around the block a few times.

You get a bunch of girls together egging each other, you got all these hot guys paying attention to them. Mix in a soccer mom that doesn't respect her husband is in a sexless marriage plus ovulating and is offered no strings attached sex and should could get away with it. Yeah there could be big trouble happening.

I know from experience, if you are one of the chads, girls will break all the rules.

Yup. Female strippers are hooking up with clients too but they can't do it right out in the open like the male strippers can. Most clubs won't even let you touch a female stripper but male strippers have women giving them a BJ right in the crowd. If you go to most strip shows with female performers the men sit there and nurse beers while watching but most don't do much. The ladies watching male performers scream their heads off, grab all over the dancers, and suck a penis right there with people watching.

My friend owns a bar where they bring in these male dancers. She comes to our family get togethers and tells us all about the crazy stuff going on there and how much money they make on the girls watching. It's nuts. Strip clubs for men are bad enough and no married woman should want her man going to one. Strip clubs for women though? Guys, if your girl ever went to one of those events, I'd run away from her.

I never understood guys talking about benefitting from their girls get all hot to trot thinking about being screwed by some stripper. Being happy with her coming home and jumping your boner while thinking about you being the stripper she was riding. No thanks. I would not consider that attractive.

I didn't have a party, and have only been to a few for friends. No such activities occurred, even at the one held at a strip club.

I had a bachelor party before my first marriage. My 2 brothers came over to my house the night before the wedding. We ate pizza and drank some beer and played video games. We were quite the party animals. Lol
Mrs. JH and I did not have bachelor or bachelorette parties. We eloped. The bachelor party I mentioned above is the only one I've ever attended. I don't believe we had a bachelor party for my best buddy before his big Catholic wedding. Maybe because they were all latinos and it was not part of their culture. Dunno.
My bachelor party - 7 guys, liquor and a porn film in my apt. My wife's - 10 or so ladies - liquor -in our apt. Tame as can be. However, I attended a friends bachelor party at a strip club 30 years ago. I saw a dancer acrobatically stand on her head on a table and bang her bikini bottomed crotch onto the groom's face. Amazing. My wife heard about this and is still mad at ME 30 odd years later.

All of it just shows how far our society has fallen from good morals.
Guess I'm more of a science guy. Oldshirts points come down to the conclusion that other researchers have reached: female sexuality is plastic and that this is an evolved (on average ) gender difference. It's debated of course. Not blindly asserting as gospel. But IMO evidence is on the side of wiring. After WWI in the UK, after nearly a million men were taken off the reproductive chessboard - it was observed that many many women took up house with other women. So called English Marriages boomed. Many otherwise "heterosexual" ladies found them selves in quietly physical relationships with other women. Throughout time, male populations suddenly disappear or drop. What are the gals gonna do? When female populations drop, the guys simply "stole" women from other tribes (Romans - stealing Sabines) (The Finns still have contests for this I think ). So male preferences don't appear anywhere near as plastic.

I have no problem that women are having women as partners at all (I prefer them myself!!:ROFLMAO:)
My comment is on the fact that people (men OR women) in a committed relationship commit adultery. THAT is the lack of morals that I am talking about. If they are committed, they should NOT be fooling around with anyone -- bachelor/bachelorette party, strip club, or any other event/activity.

Got it. And I agree. Same page. If I had had a dancer crotch-face me back then, I'd be dead now :) :) And..I would not have put myself in that spot. I remember thinking even then....no way, no how would I do this.....

Not everyone defines a lap dance as cheating. I don't. Most of my friends don't. My husband doesn't. I've paid for him to have a lap dance, and I got one for free that he enjoyed watching. Definitely not cheating to us, and a lot of other people.

Some people think that even looking at r talking to someone of the opposite sex is cheating. I know several women who believe their man masturbating is cheating. With our without porn.

It all depends on the individual, because some people have very rigid ideas of what cheating is. While others have a much more open minded definition.

There is no absolute right answer to "whst is cheating" that fits everyone. It is what an individual believes, and expects from their partner.

Now that you mention I have gone to a strip club with a previous partner, and my current partner. In both instances I can tell you that the no touching rule ONLY applies to men. They allow women to touch whatever they want, and the female dancers really don't seem to mind at all if the woman is attractive. I remember being surprised at how aggressive each women was with the dancers. I certainly didn't expect that. Obviously I don't consider a touchy feely grinding lap dance cheating if I am there watching it. On both evenings I only observed. While it seems like a double standard, I'm smart enough to know that me getting a lap dance would cause an argument.

I went to a few strip clubs with my first wife several times. Some would have armatures nights. She participated a few times. It was effing great. We only did it maybe 5 times because frankly, the pro girls didn't really appreciate her dancing/performing because just about everyone both guys and girl customers liked her more than them. My first wife may have been one of those crazy nuts redheads but she was a serious knockout with an OMG body. Awesome memories !

It is kind of like a form of foreplay. For example that movie magic mike 3 came out recently and the girls did a girls night out to see it. My wife clothes came off the second she got home. Its really no different then watching porn together before getting it on.
