I thought that this was an interesting article, mostly because of how they define "cheating." Glad I didn't have a bachelor party.

NY Post Article 70% cheat at bachelor/bachelorette party

ranging from flirting or downloading a dating app during the parties, to sexting or sleeping with someone other than their partner.
The most common instances of infidelity were relatively chaste, including receiving a lap dance (33.1%) and smooching (21.3%).

Yet 11.2% of attendees admitted to sleeping with someone else — and 9% said that they got hot and heavy in the sheets as part of a threesome.
Q1: So how many people had bachelor or bachelorette parties prior to marriage?

Q2: Any thing you did at one, that you wouldn't want your spouse to find out about?

My Answers: Since I didn't have one prior to my wedding, I can honestly answer that nothing happened.

I always thought the argument "Men cheat more the women" was flawed at its base. Why? Who are all these men cheating with?
Maybe the women that are cheating are doing it with multiple men.

While on the subject of women letting their hair down at bachelorette parties, on the same lines there are the so-called girls night outs.
A wife tells her husband she is going out with her female friends for the evening. Most of these end up at clubs where there is a lot of drinking involved and women will be hit on by guys.
Sometimes after having lots to drink married women will fall to temptation and go off with a guy.
The husband tries to contact his wife but gets put through to voice mail.
She arrives home the following morning looking disheveled. Her husband asks where she`s been? His wife replies, sorry I got drunk and had to stay at a girlfriend`s house to sleep it off. This happens a lot.
But there are several categories of cheating, including emotional cheating which is common among women.
One way to fix this is to shut off their social media and wonder how many wives are prepared to do that.

Infidelity among women needs to be more transparent and the statistics need to be updated.

Probably with the married women who claim men cheat more than women.

Until men stop putting women up on pedestals they will never see the truth.

Don't be fooled. A lot goes on a Bachelorette parties that you will never hear about. Women are just as bad as men when it comes to bad behavior, don't fall for gender bias because it will bite you in the ass.
What kind of desperate skanky women are you hanging out with that would give you that impression?

Need there be direct hanging out with these types of women to know they exist? I have worked with them, been to parties with them, though they are mere acquaintances than friend I hang with BECAUSE of this type of behavior. 🤷🏼‍♀️

I don't think that men or women are any worse than one another but I do think that ladies have far more opportunity and support in our culture and might be more likely to screw up because of this.

Like I said before, women are now taught that being promiscuous is "empowering"

And a woman with a brain knows this is not true.

I don't think you need to hang out with them to know.

As I posted earlier I have been to a couple of European cities (know for cheap alcohol) and seen drunk women with "bride to be" sashes along with bridesmaid's and friends (some also with sashes that say bridesmaid) going around outside plaza bars and sitting on men's laps. Then while the "bride to be"'s support group yells at the men to kiss her and they yell to the "bride to be" to rub her tits in his face.

I was there in the summer sitting in the plaza with my wife doing some people watching and saw an eyeful. More about people than I thought I would see or wanted to see. I have seen similar things more than once during vacations. Again, you don't have to hang with skanky chicks to see some of the behavior.

But to be fair it never came close to the drunken lewdness of soccer/football fans after a major match ended and then crowded onto public transportation. That also happened a few times, and I and my wife got off the public transportation at the next stop and waited a while until a less energetic trainfull of people came by.

Were those Canadians? The Canadians were animals when they showed up as trainees at the XEROX training center.
I believe both are equal in their debauchery, only difference is that women are better at hiding it.
Possibly correlated to the fact that historically women had to be better at hiding it.

Before women had financial independence and the ability to divorce with some assets the risk of getting caught cheating was enormous. If the hb didn't kill her or beat the **** put of her he could throw her out with nothing.

Male cheating was tolerated and even expected as long as he provided for the family. Strip clubs and prostitutes were the norm.

I imagine it's been a shock for men to get used to women cheating, but we've never been shocked thar men cheat because that's our history.

I can imagine that given the opportunity at a bachelorette party plenty of women would cheat just like men. And they hide it better because they've always had to.

I agree. Which makes the "men cheat more" argument null and void.

Not just these but in the not so distant past if a man cheated nothing would really happen and he had a decent chance of getting away with it. Where as if a women cheated there would be a very realistic chance of a baby. Obviously this changed around the 60s but this alone would probably account for why men historically would be far more likely to cheat.
Again, accurate numbers are hard to come by, but what is out there says women cheat at bachelor/bachelorette parties at more than twice the frequency that men cheat. 2.6% vs 1.2%.
I am not sure the source of the numbers. But anytime I see things to that degree of precision am suspicious. I mean how would that data be collected anyway? From the customers or the venue owners?

The experience your friend had I find unsurprising. Anytime a bunch of females get together to party, they PARTY like there was no tomorrow. Even if it is at a Tupperware party or a Baby Shower with no booze or men present.

Men cheated and knocked out kids with other women all the time, the wife just couldn’t do anything about it.

Men cheated because nobody did anything about it and women hid it because they faced real consequences with or without a baby.

And it wasn't hard to pass a baby off as the hb's unless she cheated with a different race.

Oh I’m sure men did father many a child with their mistresses. In the age before paternity testing though it was probably easy enough for them to shrug and to hmmm not mine bye.

No. One was on a train in Frankfurt Germany and another was on a train near Gatwick airport just outside London. In both cases, just about everyone was very drunk and singing lewd songs at the top of their lungs. Didn't really feel physically threatened (except someone might vomit on us), but not a pleasant trip so we got off at the next stop after they got on.

So you feel that pack of European floozies you witnessed is representative of what often happens at female bachelorette parties?

As far as American bachelorette parties go, I'm not even sure who the women are supposed to be cheating with. The male stripper? You think these guys are in the gym all day doing crunches so they can make out and get BJ's from pudgy soon to be housewives? Maybe if you paid them enough. And I'd wager it's a very small minority of women who are paying some guy she just met extra for sex / making out. And it's probably an equally small percentage of male strippers who would actually get off on that.

There's a reason 90% of Hollywood heart throbs are married. Justin Bieber could be with a new woman every day but once you get to a high level endless female attention starts to get old quick. It's mostly genuinely low value males who enjoy and get off on attention from just anyone. Because they know they're low value and it helps soothe the pain.

Amend the laws whereas it becomes compulsory that a man`s name can only be placed on a birth certificate until proven to be the biological father and see how much the infidelity statistics among women will increase. It has been estimated in the UK that 1 in 10 men are bringing up children not knowing they are not the biological fathers.

Other statistics (and all these can be checked online) that whatever body counts women claim to have is to multiply those numbers by 3 and whatever body counts men claim to have is to divide those numbers by 3.

Today it is likely that a single women age 25 will be more sexually experienced and have higher body counts than single men of the same age.

Facts are facts.
