“How many times can you put me down
'Til in your heart you realize,
If you choose to criticize
You choose your enemies”

- Ozzy Osbourne ‘You’re No Different‘

This is one to remember. Yes, I’m talking mostly to myself. 😐

I understand and agree with your point.

I was able to see myself in the quote, because, growing up, neither of my parents were willing to hear me. There was no honesty. They were never wrong. I was literally treated as though I was invisible - with no needs.

My mom died last year, but right up to the end, she was relationally deaf. And so is my brother, and up to a point, so is my dad.

And it's really hard to live that way. It's so dysfunctional, and, with me, it's caused a lot of harm.

This is iffy.
It depends, is the person qualified to judge whether I'm right or wrong?
