Tried tea leaves. Nothing.

Runes HATE me.

Cards and I get along just fine.
No I Ching?
Fascinating.

Something I studied decades ago.

Yin and Yang!

It is a less effective tool (for me) on divining. It seems good for spotting current trends.

I have sat with many tea leaf readers. I enjoy the commentary.
The tea leaves are an ancient and a popular medium for some psychics.

The Turks, and Gypsies, etal,, often use them.

It does. It's pretty interesting.

Not anywhere near as complex, multi layered or informational as cards though.

I agree.

Cards have a written meaning and a visual import. This requires less subjective analysis.

When you write many little, those blood red, bad sayings, a good essay is not seen, is skimmed over, unread.

On TAM, it is that one inane, maybe that sharp post that makes all your future posts seemingly invisible, snubbed, to yet another reader.

Those with the highest post count, by writ of odds, have set more than one reader aflutter.
As well, it is those repeated opinions, that end up boring many to shunning your works.

These were words heard from a recent conversation between SunCMars, The Typist and UlyssesHeart.

On speaking....
..................................................................................................................................................................

"When you speak, I only hear critics". SunCMars said to The Typist.

"When I speak, I only hear in return, crickets". SunCMars spoke again.

"When I speak, no love my way, cometh, My words rattle tin ears, tingle old fears that ever weep, never sleep". The Typist rued.

"When I speak, I spark steel on flint, I light up the sky. All shall pay heed!" UlyssesHeart roared.

The proudest man eats last.

The proudest lady goes to bed hungry, the poor dear, love starved.

When pride gets in the way of love, pride is doing the lonely fools errand.

Those single ladies who do not drink at every likeable stream, will, at the end, drown in regret.

The farther one travels from youth, the less common are seen, those worthy jutting fountains.

Sometimes, it is good for a wife to put her man in his place.
Sometimes, his face then disappears from her place, her viewpoint, so hurtful.

A woman can complain her man away, complain him to his death.

Being always right, being always correct, often means, being always alone, staring at your own perfect reflection.

Those who believe that they are better than others stand in a long line, with those other lonely, slowly aging, slowly cooling bodies.

Those beautiful and smooth faces that remain unkissed, will surely seal in that fate when wrinkles, at last appear, so noted, not missed.

The longer the tractor remains in the barn, the more likely it will never start when the Harvest Moon lights up your nights.

It is better to state your wants, then to depend on the other misreading your hidden desires.
Words that hint, that tease, have not the weight, the impetus of an unburdened heart.

Caution can be that saving grace, yet, caution can also kill the pace of a realizable desire that is available at your fingertips.
Wait not to be pushed, push on your own accord.

It is better to fail at love, than to rue of it, never bandied, never flailed.
Even in love failed, are those sweet moments inhaled.

We remember, most strongly, those pleasant moments of love, as we block out those felt, most unwelcome.

Having all the answers robs that freedom of thought.
………..
Having no questions defaults to having all the answers.
Or, being that dried leaf taken up by the wind.

It is those steely eyes that countermand such glaring disrespect.
Eyes, not nays of acquiescence.
