I'm starting to weigh my options as well... moving out sometime this month so looking forward to working out a lot that forces a release of direct "happy hormones" .....

You can't consistently stay happy, but you can choc-a-block your day with stuff that you enjoy doing that will eventually make you happy, I guess!

I stay happy by being involved in the things that interest me like my husband, children, hobbies, online, ect.. I have 2-3 hobbies that keep me going.

I'm pretty happy even though I've gone/going through major painful health issues. It took about 3 years to accept my severe chronic pain. I have a very supportive husband. Without him I would not be as happy as I am now. It helps that my husband supports my hobbies as well even though he is totally disinterested in them.
