The 47% will come back to haunt Mitt. If the Republicans actually wanted a viable candidate, they would have thrown their support behind Ron Paul. They know they cannot win. Romney is a sacrifice. Their own party thinks he's a terrible choice.
In no way does that mean I endorse Obama. I am just pointing out that the Republican party has little to nothing good to say about Mitt. The only thing they keep hammering on is his business record. If I were them, I would avoid that. His "record" is making a select few very rich via private equity and the rest out of work. Not exactly the "everyman" that he paints himself as. Nevermind the fake tan he gave himself while speaking to Latinos. Christ on a cracker this guy is awful.
Hey, when Rove and Cheney start bad mouthing the Republican party because of Tick Romney, doesn't that tell you all you need to know?

I give it 50/50 Obama is America's last President. There won't be a recognizable entity called the US after that.

Oh dear lord, the drama from you people. 50/50 shot he's America's last President? Are you serious? Really?
Oh they'll be a US but it won't resemble much the country you live in now. For example, expect to hear serious, very serious discussion about repealing the 22nd amendment should Obama win a second term, allowing Obama to more or less rule like a man-god for as long as he wants.

Second, since Obama seems disinterested in whether the Democrats lose both houses of Congress, you can expect to see a huge increase in his use of Executive Orders which circumvent Congress and the Supreme Court.

Third, his plan to fill the court with 'wise Latinas' hasn't worked out so even if there are 1 or 2 openings on the Court soon, Obama won't worry about who gets those jobs since he isn't particularly worried about non enforceable rulings FROM the Supreme Court.

Fourth, 16 trillion with a T debt in relation to the GDP is approaching failed EU nation ratios. Obama's somewhat confused semi-socialist kick the can strategy will run out of steam because China can't afford to buy much more of our debt. The solution to 2008 appears to be semi permanent stagflation.

Fifth, Obama will be FORCED to deal with social security and retirement generally because if he doesn't and all of us geezers keep working, his 'base' of under 30's will be 50-70% unemployed for a VERY long time. This will end new housing starts, family growth and all of the other social and economic things that come with a prosperous middle class in the 25-35 age group. He wants to hire 8 point eleventy zillion teachers - ok but there won't be enough students to fill the schools if he can't figure out how to get all those people employed and he can't get those people employed in a non growth economy unless he gets rid of all of us geezers.

And Sixth, he wants to frame our nation as a rationing society not a growth society. A rationing society is one in which all things flow from the top down in carefully rationed allocated bits and chunks. A rationing society doesn't grow its way out of a problems it apportions what little it has left until it's all gone. Obama has embarked on a rationing of energy of money or wealth of food of health care of more or less everything. It parses out the few resources it has left because growth is not something it wants to do. It doesn't want to make more energy it doesn't want to build more heavy equipment it doesn't want to expand. This is in fact what many critics of Obama get wrong. It's not 'socialism'. It's not wealth redistribution. It's rationing. It's assuming that nothing will ever be this good and it's all downhill from here and we'd better draw all the wagons in a circle and ration what we have for as long as we can. Maybe a few of us will survive maybe not. But doing 'more' being productive isn't something that the Obama world view understands.

I was reading yesterday that for the first time in history in the UK more households get MORE FROM the government than the number and amount that households pay in. About 53% of all households get more from the government than they put in. 47% of households put more in than get back. To add insult there's about 350,000 households in the UK housing 1-3 generations of people where NO ONE has EVER held a job.

That appears to be where we're headed under Pax Obama.

To me it means he should have kicked the far right wing of the GOP in the teeth and run as a Rockefeller Republican, which is in fact what he is. The problem is that BOTH parties have a pathological fear and loyalty to the most fanatical wings of their own party and there's no earthly reason why they should. I have never in my life found a person walking around who's 100% aligned with Kool Aid suckers of MSNBC and yet to listen to them Obama's debate performance was the sermon on the mount. I have never in my life ever spoken to anyone remotely like Fox's Brian Kilmeade or half of the people they have on air in terms of their hidebound ideology and dullness.

And for the record, yes, please shoot PBS in the head too because NPR is a joke, it is literally the Schweddy Balls joke Alec Baldwin made made about white liberals on NPR radio shows. It is overwrought precious vain condescending garbage. I'm **** Gordon and this "This Story".......of noble yet poor black people who have some odd story to tell about their struggle with civil rights and interpretive dance, 60 years ago...Spare me. But I digress.

The point is, Romney should have been telling Rove and all those other idiots where to get off a long time ago. The primaries were a circus. He probably woke up every day thinking "I just can't believe this clown car of retards I'm up against and it's a struggle....maybe Americans are too dumb to vote." He should have told all the Tea Party members, "Hey it's been nice, go lug your AR-15's to someone else's stump speech, because I don't need you." And he should have picked a different running mate because Ryan is going to cost him. Too many fanatics, too many Grover Norquists.

For his part Obama is either fool or lazy or both. Either he's truly a nihilist who doesn't care or he's intellectually too lazy to consider that his base is further to the left than Hugo Chavez.....and Hugo Chavez says that. He's too old for this insipid youthful infatuation with romantic radical Marxist bullsh^t. That's fine when you're 17 and everything is a fight but when you're the President and you're actually called upon to have to work with people who don't idolize you and whom you don't agree with, it simply a waste of everyone's time. You're not the messiah. It reminds me of a friend of mine who was quite bright and won, against all odds a full ride to MIT. After less than a year I caught up with him he was a wreck. He was burned out emotionally shattered. The work was incredibly hard, harder than he ever thought possible. But what crushed him was not that it was hard, it's that is was hard FOR HIM. He'd never been in a setting where everyone else was as smart and hardworking as he was. He wasn't special anymore. He couldn't accept being average. That's who Obama is, the kid who's never failed or only failed up. The kid who's parents always made their friends listen to whatever he had to say, and applaud. The kid who's always been a little above average but far more above average compared to his peers that HE intentionally selected.

Reread the Constitution. This will never happen and to pretend it is even possible cheapens your other points.
