Can we have a FAQ topic on the acronyms used in messages on this site? :scratchhead:

For example, what is STFBX or some such acronym?
Also WS, BS and probably others that I can't remember.

These all seemed to be used when referring to a spouse or ex-spouse.

I thought maybe I would eventually figure it out but no luck.
And when I went looking to find something somewhere on this site explaining, nothing was found.

Maybe not that important, but just curious. :p

Thanks in advance

Could we sticky it? I've sent the link to many newbies, but it's not easy to find.

(I mean at the top of forums such as GTDS or CWI, etc.)

OK, thanks very much!

STBX = Soon to be Ex

Not sure but I think I saw STBFX somewhere but maybe I am wrong... but at least I get the idea. ;)

Or... we could just spell them out.

Nothing like seeing a wall of text or several paragraphs of text and despite all the effort put in by the poster, they couldn't spell out "brother-in-law" or "other woman".

TTFN :)
