Ask her what she wants (other than a divorce). Ask her how she will feel loved & valued. Then do that to the extent it is not unreasonable & you can.

Stop being logical. Yes taking care of the kids & cleaning the house are practical examples of support but what did either of those actions do to make her feel sexy, smart, or desired?

I completely agree. It was logical, it wasn't what she needed. We spoke a lot about that in therapy and how I use logic in all aspects of my life. Again, it's the best I knew how. I told her I can't change the past, I can only learn and grow from it. I wish I could. I was so sure of myself and how I was caring for her I completely missed the mark. Stubbornness and hubris. I should have listened more carefully
Recently she took her wedding ring off and told me she wants a divorce.
I'm really sorry, but she's done. Don't play the desperate pick-me dance. And, an FYI - I'm a woman, and this is what a woman says when it's over.

Again, really sorry. Time to lawyer up.

My advice for what is worth, divorce ASAP, the Sooner the better because right now she's into divorce mode and it might help you to get a better deal if you deal with the divorce right away.

She's out, so do not waste anymore of your life on a dead relationship. Do not be that dude begging. Keep your dignity, self respect, and your pride intact. At least give her a final good bye vision of a proud man that will not be seen as a pathetic supplicant. Women detest men like that.

So, have you seek a divorce lawyer already? If not, why not? Are you waiting for her lawyer to take you for everything that you're Worth? It's time to find out where you legally stand on a divorce.
